WATER STEAM CYCLE
IN SOLAR TERMAL POWER PLANTS

The water-steam cycle is the system responsible for transferring heat from the boiler or heat exchanger to the steam turbine, condensing later to return to the equipment that adds heat and thus closing the cycle.
The course reviews the Rankine cycle. It explains concepts related to the steam (superheated steam, saturated steam, saturated liquid, superheated steam, dry saturated steam, etc.). It also details each of the equipment involved (boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, degasser, condenser ), and it explains the chemical treatment necessary in the cycle to avoid fouling and corrosion problems, like this it explains the operation and maintenance of this important system
